2024 RACV Midwinter Rally – Information Page

Roll up – Rrroll up… Announcing  with considerable  vivacity – “ The Greatest Midwinter Rally planned to date!”  Veteran car touring, meeting the expectations of all.  Action packed tours that will warm any soul on a winter’s day;  Yes indeed, I am certain that this is going to be the greatest Midwinter rally to date;  I’d stake a Buick on it ..!

In a town blessed as a Saint, known for its gold and rumours of modern day Bushrangers, yes that’s right – Bushrangers; I declare that this July, all entrants will be immersed in the old time colonial spirit.

The fun will be intoxicating, the drives exhilarating, the meals tantalising; the towns mesmerising  – I need a breath! – Yes folks, this is not a mere event, it is an adventure.

ACCOMMODATION

Please note you must book and pay for your own accommodation.  Be sure to check the accommodation cancellation policy before booking.

BOOK NOW so you don’t miss out!  PHONE the property directly and advise them you are attending the rally.
Do not use internet/website bookings.  The dates have been blanked out for us and will show as unavailable.

The rally starts with Registration at 12 noon on Friday (July 12th) and concludes with a lunch on Sunday (July 14th)

The Itinerary (subject to change)

Friday

Registration and rally bag collection from 12pm – 2pm – St. Arnaud Sporting Club.

Friday Dinner: 6pm  Bus pick up from motels.  St. Arnaud Sporting Club.

Saturday

8.30am assemble for a 9am departure, driving along the most nurturing and flat – yes flat roads.  60km arrive at Museum and lunch.
Afternoon return drive cascading along what we call the straight Nullarbor plain of St. Arnaud.

6.00pm. Bus pick up from motels.  Dinner at The Shire Café.  Enjoy the finest dining and be sure to place a bet on the Cold Start competition.

Sunday 

8.00am Cold Start competition, further updates and details to be given over the weekend.
9.30am assemble in town for a departure to morning tea.

Lunch will be provided at Alan and Heather’s home and car collection in St. Arnaud.

Alan and Heather are organising a multitude of unique and wonderful experiences for this Midwinter tour and I encourage everyone to enter and lets  book out the town.
